Xiadani is an LPC-Associate Supervised by Sarah Carlson, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S. with a background in psychology and clinical mental health counseling. She studied Psychology in Mexico City and completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas. Xiadani provides services in English and Spanish and brings a bicultural perspective to her work with children, adults, and families.
Throughout her training, Xiadani has supported diverse populations, including adolescents and adults involved in the legal system, women and children who have experienced violence, individuals and families impacted by substance use, caregivers, and children with developmental or behavioral needs. These experiences have shaped her commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care.
Xiadani’s clinical interests include child-centered play therapy, individual counseling with adults, caregiver support, Trauma Focused CBT, psychoeducation, and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy. She uses cognitive-behavioral and strengths-based approaches to help clients better understand their emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Xiadani believes that play is the natural language of children, just as words are for adults, and that through play, children can express themselves, process experiences, and develop new ways to cope with life’s challenges.
Her goal is to provide a safe, empathetic, and respectful space where children, adults, and families feel supported as they express themselves, heal, and grow. She is honored to walk alongside clients in their journey toward well-being, resilience, and meaningful change.
