Kacey is passionate about working with people throughout the lifespan, including children, teens, individuals, families, and couples. With a trauma-informed background, she strives to provide a safe, warm, and inviting environment in the therapy space to create room for growth and development. Kacey has a holistic, person-centered approach to counseling and works collaboratively with clients to achieve their unique goals.
Previously, Kacey worked in community mental health, providing support to a diverse range of clients through a multicultural lens. She is dedicated to serving underrepresented communities and advocating for change. In doing so, Kacey strives to incorporate eclectic techniques into the therapy space to foster creativity and identity exploration. Kacey finds inspiration and growth from clients and feels honored to be part of their journeys.
As a play therapist, Kacey enjoys not only incorporating child-centered principles in her work with children, but also with all ages. She believes that play and expressive arts are fundamental to the human experience and can empower clients to connect with their emotions in new ways.
In her spare time, Kacey enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, practicing yoga, and crocheting.
