Join the Mighty Oaks Team!
Dr. Carlson started Mighty Oaks back in 2015, with the intention of providing a variety of inclusive services for children, teens, adults, parents, and families. As the practice has grown and expanded over the years, her
vision of a safe and affirming practice has come to fruition, with the expansion to 9 counseling rooms, and close collaborations with several local public and private schools. We are honored to be a trusted mental health source, with a majority of our clients being referred from previous clients, pediatricians, and school counselors.

Dr. Carlson aims to model authenticity and openness with her team, and is looking for applicants to also be comfortable with these qualities. Our team includes dedicated clinicians, who are not only open to learn and grow, but also to support each other through supervision and connection. We specialize in neurodiversity, twice-exceptionalism, and trauma, and work closely with families going through high-conflict divorces. Applicants should feel comfortable with these populations, and open to continued learning, to meet the individual needs of our individual clients and families. Dr. Carlson's goal is to help her team feel empowered to operate independently, but enjoy to enjoy the benefits of a team. We are also looking for applicants that value community involvement and self-advocacy.
